North Dakota man allegedly stabbed wife as she was sleeping in van

FARGO, N.D. (TCD) -- A 27-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his wife over the weekend.
According to the Fargo Police Department, the incident occurred on Saturday, Feb. 12. Witnesses reportedly said Tyler Mollner’s wife was seen jumping out of a red van on 42nd Street South as it was moving at approximately 30 miles per hour.
According to KVLY-TV, the Fargo Police Department responded to the scene at around 11:30 p.m. and found a "bloody and hysterical" victim being assisted by two bystanders.
The victim was reportedly sleeping in the van, and Mollner yelled at her and threw her phone out of the window. Mollner allegedly stabbed his wife in the shoulder, and she punched him to defend herself. However, Mollner continued to attack her, KVYL reports. Mollner’s wife asked him to stop, and he reportedly responded, "No, I’m going to kill you." His wife then reportedly jumped out of the moving van.
According to KVYL, the victim endured multiple stab wounds to her shoulder and back, as well as several severe cuts.
Police say a felony arrest warrant for Mollner was issued on Monday, Feb. 14, in connection with the crime. According to police, he was arrested shortly after 6:15 p.m. in a parking lot in South Fargo and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault-domestic violence.
According to KVYL, police found the victim’s wallet and a bloodied kitchen knife when Mollner was taken into custody.
