Gretchen Anthony case: Florida woman missing for weeks; Husband arrested in New Mexico

UPDATE April 8, 2020:
Gretchen S. Anthony's car was recovered in the parking lot of Jupiter Medical Center, Jupiter Police said Tuesday.
"On March 26, 2020 the Jupiter Police Department responded to the residence of Gretchen Anthony after members of her family reported her missing. As the investigation progressed and further evidence collected, it is believed David E. Anthony is responsible for her disappearance and related homicide which was determined to have occurred on March 21, 2020.Gretchen's vehicle, a dark blue Mini Cooper, was recovered in the parking lot of the Jupiter Medical Center; however, Gretchen was not located within this area. During the investigation, a cadaver dog was utilized and alerted within the residence of Gretchen Anthony."

JUPITER, Fla. (WPTV) -- A Jupiter man was arrested in New Mexico and charged with murder and kidnapping after his wife suddenly disappeared weeks ago, police said.
The Jupiter Police Department said on March 26 they opened a missing person case for 51-year-old Gretchen S. Anthony, who was last seen on March 20 at her residence in Abacoa. Investigators said David Ethan Anthony, 43, was the last known person to have contact with her.
Police said evidence later revealed that David Anthony was responsible for her disappearance and homicide.
Investigators found David Anthony in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he was arrested on March 31 and charged with second-degree murder and kidnapping.
Detectives said they are still trying to locate the whereabouts of Gretchen Anthony and believe two vehicles, a black 2016 Nissan Frontier or a dark blue Mini Cooper/Clubman, may have been used in the case.
