Ohio brothers arrested after man’s body is found near dumpster

COLUMBUS, Ohio (TCD) -- Police arrested two brothers on suspicion of murder about a month after a man was discovered dead from a gunshot wound near a dumpster.
In the early morning hours of June 19, Columbus Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of North 4th Street after a passerby noticed a man’s body close to a dumpster in the parking lot of a business. EMS arrived and pronounced the victim, who police identified as Isiaha Thompson-Angus, deceased.
Surveillance video shared by the Columbus Division of Police with a time stamp of 2:25 a.m. shows Thompson-Angus walking near the dumpster. Then, a man in a red shirt approaches him and they start fighting. Another male in a black shirt and a female run toward them, and according to police, "After reaching the dumpster, all three almost immediately flee."
On July 10, Columbus Police identified the males in the red and black shirts as Michael Mickens Jr. and Micheal Mickens and issued warrants on murder charges for their arrest.
Police announced July 14 the brothers were located and arrested. According to Franklin County Jail records, Michael Mickens Jr. was arrested July 10, while Micheal Mickens was taken into custody July 13.
