TAMPA, Fla. (TCN) -- A 25-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly running over multiple people, including one fatally, after being removed from a strip club "due to inappropriate behavior."
On Aug. 13 at around 4:19 a.m., Tampa Police officers responded to the parking lot of Emperors Gentleman Club, where a truck had crashed. Witnesses told police the driver, Dylan Fogle, had been kicked out of the club, and then he allegedly came back to "drive the truck into a group of people standing at the entrance."
Several people were near in the area at the time. Police said there were three victims, including Giovanni Soto, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims were transported to a local hospital for critical injuries but have been released.
Officials also transported Fogle to a hospital for injuries. According to police, Fogle’s blood alcohol content was above the legal limit, and they believe alcohol contributed to the incident.
Fogle faces charges of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, vehicular homicide, two counts of DUI with serious bodily injury, and one count of DUI manslaughter. He remains held in the Hillsborough County Jail without bond. Records show Fogle is from North Carolina.
