Florida man sentenced to life for sexually battering 9-year-old

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (TCN) -- A man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for sexually battering a child.
According to the Florida State Attorney's Office, a judge sentenced Jeramy Harrison on Aug. 28 to life in state prison for sexual battery on a victim less than 12 years of age. The judge also designated Harrison as a sexual predator.
Prosecutors said Harrison sexually battered a victim who was 9 years old at the time the sexual abuse took place.
