Sisters fight armed ex-con intruder; hero cop saves them

Two sisters fight off an ex-convict with a knife after he breaks into their house in the middle of the night, days after he was paroled from prison.
Bre Lasley and sister Kayli Lasley are lucky to be alive. They were seconds and only centimeters away from certain death when ex-convict Robert Berger, packing a 4-inch-long blade, breaks into their house.
The sisters told Salt Lake City affiliate KSTU about their struggle for survival with Berger, a convict with a long rap sheet including busts for robbery and burglary.
Berger was paroled from prison only eight days before he went on his rampage, and already had a warrant out for his arrest.
