TUOLUMNE COUNTY, Calif. (KTXL) -- A Tuolumne County nurse is accused of murder-for-hire.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office said Heidi Butler was arrested Friday evening for solicitation to commit murder after they received a tip from the FBI.
Neighbors told KTXL that Butler is an intensive care unit nurse who lives with her husband and four young kids.
"Due to the sensitive nature of the case and concern for victim confidentiality, no further information is available at this time," the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.
The Modesto Bee reports a sheriff's deputy said Monday morning that the crime occurred in Tuolumne County. “The murder was not committed, only the solicitation,” he reportedly said via text message.
