Human remains found near missing Florida woman’s car

ORLANDO, Fla. (TCD) -- Human remains were discovered near a missing woman’s car this week.
According to a press release from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Julie Noppinger of Oviedo was last seen on Feb. 26 at approximately 8:30 a.m. She was reportedly walking out of a Walmart Super Center at 11250 E. Colonial Drive, wearing a burgundy Old Navy hoodie jacket, blue jeans, white sandals, and an orange purse. The Sheriff’s Office says Noppinger was driving a red Nissan Altima with the Florida tag NPQA35.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, March 23, authorities found Noppinger’s Nissan outside a parking lot on E. Colonial Drive. Human remains were reportedly discovered near the car, though they have not yet been identified.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is taking on the case due to the location of the remains.
