HOUSTON (TCD) -- Police say a missing 25-year-old who had not been seen since December was found in the trunk of his car earlier in January.
The Houston Police Department tweeted Jan. 31 that Taylour Young’s body was located in an impound lot in Dallas on Jan. 19. Dallas Police reportedly told Houston Police that Young’s body was "in an advanced state of decomposition." The two police departments are investigating his death as a homicide, and the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine Young’s cause of death.
According to the missing person bulletin shared by the Houston Police Department, Young, who also went by the name Gallardo, was last seen Dec. 9 driving his 2019 silver Honda Civic near the Capital One Bank on the 1600 block of South Voss Road. KHOU-TV reports Young was running some errands during his lunch break when he went missing. His mother Tiffany Robinson told KHOU her son’s cellphone was "found in the bushes by the ATM."
KTRK-TV reports Young’s vehicle was towed Jan. 10 from a parking lot on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.
Robinson told KPRC-TV that Young graduated from Sam Houston State University and had a job in accounting.
