SAN FRANCISCO (TCD) -- Police have arrested a 38-year-old information technology entrepreneur in connection with the stabbing death of Cash App founder and former chief technology officer of Square Bob Lee.
In a press conference Thursday, April 13, San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott identified the suspect as Nima Momeni. Police served "several" search warrants and an arrest warrant in Emeryville and San Francisco as part of their investigation, and Momeni was taken into custody without incident and booked into the San Francisco County Jail.

On Tuesday, April 4, at approximately 2:35 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Main Street to a report of a stabbing, where they found Lee suffering from stab wounds. Lee was transported to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries.
Police said this is an open and ongoing investigation.
