Sherri Papini, a jogger who disappeared for weeks in Northern California, has been reunited with her family.
"We are overwhelmed with joy how supportive everyone has been," said Sheila Koester, Sherri's sister.
New details about Sherri's horrifying ordeal have been released. The mother of two was mysteriously snatched in broad daylight while out for her morning jog on November 2.
A dramatic radio call from the California Highway Patrol when Sherri Papini, 34, was found on Thanksgiving morning reports she was heavily battered and chained to "something." Papini was dumped on the side of the road in Yolo, California, 150 miles away from her Redding home.
"Until we identify the suspect or suspects the public should remain cautious," said Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko.
Investigators issued 20 warrants for surveillance cameras and "pings" from cell towers. The suspects were described as two Hispanic women, both considered armed and dangerous. They're driving a dark-colored SUV.
Just a day after Papini was found, Redding Mayor Missy McArthur got a phone call from Papini and her husband Keith. The husband and wife expressed heartfelt thanks to their community, who never gave up the search.
Now the question is Who took Sherri, and why?
Investigators are leaving no stone unturned, looking into Sherri's past, including her first marriage and divorce, as well as any online activity.
"The investigation is far from over," said Sheriff Bosenko. "In fact it has only begun a new chapter in this investigation."
