Reserve police officer arrested for crimes against nature in Louisiana

FRANKLIN, La. (TCD) --
A part-time reserve police officer in Louisiana was arrested for crimes against nature Wednesday night, and his wife was arrested on related charges.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a complaint from the Franklin area on February 9 about a possible crime against a juvenile victim.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office investigators obtained warrants for the arrest of Travis Williams and Sherelle Williams.
Franklin resident Travis Williams, 32, and his wife Sherelle Williams, 37, were arrested Wednesday night and booked at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Travis Williams is charged with six counts of aggravated crimes against nature. Sherelle Williams is charged with accessory after the fact and obstruction of justice.
Bail was set for Travis Williams at $100,000 and for Sherelle Williams at $50,000.
Travis Williams is a part-time/reserve officer with the Franklin Police Department, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office said.
