LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (TCD) -- The U.S. Marshals Service is releasing new information as the search for a missing Alabama inmate and a corrections official continues into its second week.
Vicky White, the corrections official, and Casey Cole White, the inmate, were last seen April 29 leaving the Lauderdale County detention center. She was reportedly supposed to drive him to an appointment, but they never returned. Their vehicle was reportedly found in a nearby shopping center’s parking lot.
Though Vicky and Casey are not related, officials believe they have a "special relationship." Vicky was due to retire on the day she and Casey disappeared. Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton said in a press conference that Casey’s escape was "orchestrated" and Vicky "participated" in it.
On Thursday, May 5, the U.S. Marshals announced there is now up to $5,000 in rewards for information leading to Vicky’s arrest and $10,000 for Casey’s arrest. They also shared photos of an orange Ford Edge that the pair are believed to be traveling in. The U.S. Marshals said the two could possibly be armed with an AR-15 rifle, handguns, and a shotgun.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, Vicky's Ford Edge was found in Bethesda, Tennessee. The car was reportedly abandoned a week ago but identified as their vehicle Thursday, May 5. The Sheriff's Office tweeted, "There is NO sign the two are still in our area."

In addition, the U.S. Marshals released photos of Casey’s several tattoos, including some that are reportedly affiliated with the Southern Brotherhood white supremacist gang. On the chance that Vicky changed her hair, there are now pictures depicting her with dark brown hair both at the same length and shorter.
Casey is 6-foot-9 and weighs 330 pounds. Vicky, on the other hand, is 5-foot-5 and has a "waddling gait."
Casey was charged with capital murder in 2020 for the death of a 58-year-old woman, Connie Ridgeway. The U.S. Marshals said he was already serving a 75-year sentence for crime spree in 2015. At his pre-trial sentencing in 2015, Casey reportedly "made threats against his ex-girlfriend and her sister, warning that if he ever got out, he would kill them and that he wanted police to kill him."
Law enforcement officials have "been in contact with his potential targets to advise them of the threats and the escape and have taken appropriate protective actions," the U.S. Marshals said.
Casey is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
