New details and new interviews may change your opinion on the cases of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey.
There's no doubt that the Netflix original documentary series "Making A Murderer" riled up America, with many people feeling that Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey got raw deals.
But one man stands by those convictions, the guy who put them in prison: Former Calumet County, Wisconsin Prosecutor Ken Kratz.
Kratz was the lead prosecutor on one of the most controversial homicide cases of all time made famous Making A Murderer. He turned out to be one of the villains in the documentary.
"I was named the most hated man on the internet," said Kratz.
Now, the prosecutor who helped secure two convictions for the gruesome murder of Teresa Halbach has written a new book called Avery: The Case Against Steven Avery and What "Making a Murderer" Gets Wrong.
And he's teamed up with Tom Fassbender, one of the lead investigators on the case, to fight back against a series they say misled the public into believing a lie.
Ana Garcia has never-before-heard details reportedly straight from Steven Avery's own mouth.
