On a warm July day in 1992 in Boston, Massachusetts, recent college graduate Lena Bruce has her windows open trying to deal with the heat. Little does she know that she's given a killer all he needs to end her life.
A brilliant young woman found brutally raped and murdered. Few clues, and no witnesses. The case goes cold.
Then years later, an unbelievable break. Who viciously killed Lena Bruce? The answer may lie just a few steps away.
From Tufts University: In 2016, the Bruce-Griffey Leadership and Diversity Internship Fund Committee established an internship fund in memory of two of our classmates, Lena Bruce and Anita Griffey, incredible people whose lives were both tragically cut short. The B/G Awardees pursued life changing summer internships that exemplified Lena and Anita's demonstrated commitment to leadership, social injustice, science, culture, community service and, simply, improving the life of Tufts' dynamic and diverse body of students, faculty and alumni.
Please join us this year in honoring the lives and memories of Anita & Lena by making a donation.
