Texas man accused of fatally stabbing wife in front of 13-year-old daughter

HOUSTON (TCD) -- A 51-year-old man was arrested earlier this week after allegedly stabbing his wife to death in front of their teenage daughter.
According to a press release from the Houston Police Department, on Wednesday, March 23, officers responded to an apartment complex at 7015 Woodsman Trail at approximately 11 p.m. At the scene, authorities reportedly found 35-year-old Yennis Olga Llanes Garcia suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police say Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. Garcia's husband, Francisco Leon Jimenez, reportedly fled the scene in a black Cadillac SUV. According to police, Jimenez was located in the 8000 block of Antoine. He was reportedly arrested and charged with Garcia's murder.
According to police, the couple's 13-year-old daughter was present during the incident, along with two other witnesses. They were reportedly unharmed.
In terms of motive, police told KPRC-TV Jimenez allegedly had an argument with his wife over another man.
