SANDUSKY, Ohio (TCD) -- A nurse's aid at a veterans home was arrested earlier this week after allegedly sexually assaulting a resident.
According to WJW-TV, on March 25, the Ohio Veterans Home Police Department received a tip about an employee who had allegedly shared explicit photographs of a resident. Police from the Ohio Veterans Home reportedly interviewed a nurse's aide, David Valentine, about the allegations. After denying the claims, Valentine was removed from resident care, WJW reports.
According to WOIO-TV, on Wednesday, March 30, Valentine was interviewed again and admitted to taking explicit pictures of three residents. Valentine also reportedly told authorities he sexually assaulted one of the residents two different times in November and December 2021.
