Fugitive sex-offender murder suspect caught after Dollar General employees lock him inside store

RAGLEY, La. (Leesville Daily Leader) -- The manhunt for fugitive murder suspect Neil P. Broussard came to an end on Thursday morning, July 16, thanks to the assistance of two employees of the Dollar General store in Ragley.
On Thursday morning, Broussard entered the store where the two employees immediately identified him from numerous warnings and advisories put out by law enforcement. They took action by evacuating customers, locking Broussard inside the store and contacting nearby deputies.
Deputies immediately arrived on the scene and Broussard was taken into custody without incident.
Broussard was arrested on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated battery. Broussard allegedly killed two victims, critically injured another, and kidnapped a juvenile female victim in Westlake on Wednesday. The juvenile was found safe hours later in the Ragley area. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Broussard, a registered sex offender, is accused of killing Kyla Hidalgo, 17, and Kaleb Charlton, 18; wounding the girl's mother, Catherine Hidalgo, 40; and kidnapping the woman's 14-year-old daughter early Wednesday morning in the Calcasieu Parish town of Westlake.
KPLC-TV reports Neil's wife Tori Broussard, 41, was arrested on Wednesday, July 15, on counts of accessory after the fact to first-degree rape and accessory after the fact to molestation of a juvenile, according the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
