RICHMOND, Calif. (KTXL) -- A 37-year-old Northern California man was arrested on suspicion of killing his 90-year-old grandmother and trying to eat her body Monday afternoon.
Police received a 911 call Monday from Ruby Wallick's daughter, who said she found her mother “bleeding on the family room floor and her nephew in the room covered in blood,” according to Richmond Police spokesman Sgt. Aaron Pomeroy.
When officers arrived at the residence in the 1200 block of Club Court, they found 37-year-old Dwayne Wallick “straddling his grandmother” and “actively pulling out her flesh with his hands,” Pomeroy said Wednesday.
Wallick allegedly ignored orders to stop and officers had to use a stun gun to subdue and arrest him.
Dwayne Wallick was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Wallick will be booked pending his release from the hospital.
