TOLEDO, Ohio (WJW) -- Authorities say the body of another baby has been found in a vehicle registered to an Ohio man charged earlier along with his wife in the death of their infant son found in another car nearly three years ago.
Toledo police said the vehicle registered to 33-year-old Jacob Cisneros was towed to the department's impound lot on Friday as part of the 2017 investigation. After a search warrant was executed Monday, “another deceased baby” was found inside, police said.
The Lucas County coroner's office said the body was that of a full-term female infant whose remains were “mummified.”
A judge last week set $500,000 bond each for Cisneros and his 34-year-old wife, Jenna, on charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangering. Authorities said earlier that the defendants were the parents of the infant found in an abandoned car in Toledo in May 2017.
Police said at the time that there were no signs of trauma on the body of the boy, estimated at 2 months old or less, and that the car had been parked for a long time and wasn't working.
