TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Deputies in Hillsborough County are searching for a man accused of burglarizing a fast-food restaurant by forcing himself through the drive-thru window.
The incident was captured on surveillance video that was released this week by the sheriff's office. It happened Sunday, Aug. 2 at the Wendy's on North 56th Street in Tampa.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said 26-year-old Kelvin Barnes pulled up to the drive-thru window at the restaurant around 11 p.m. with unknown passengers who became belligerent while placing an order, according to store employees.
An employee who later told law enforcement that Barnes had threatened to start a physical fight in front of the store, then walked back to the drive-thru window and forced his upper body through.
