Massachusetts man arrested in Virginia after body found in storage locker

MILFORD, Mass. (TCD) -- A Worcester County man was apprehended in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Tuesday after a 54-year-old man’s body was found inside a Massachusetts storage locker.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office announced that state police detectives working with the District Attorney’s Office and Virginia State Police arrested 28-year-old Christopher Tetreault on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The District Attorney’s office said Tetreault was taken into custody without incident.
Tetreault will reportedly appear in a Virginia court on a fugitive from justice charge, the statement said.
Paul Weaver of Milford was discovered dead inside his Beach Street storage locker August 17. According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined Weaver died of multiple stab wounds. The death was ruled a homicide.
WBZ-TV reports Weaver was reportedly living inside his storage unit when he died. According to Milford Daily News, Weaver’s body was reportedly found by someone in another storage unit and it was unclear how long he had been dead.
