MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (TCD) -- A 35-year-old tech CEO was arrested after allegedly peeping inside a restroom stall earlier this week.
On Monday, Jan. 2, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Mountain View Police dispatch learned about the allegations from a female caller, police announced in a news release. The victim was reportedly in the restroom of the Panera Bread on El Monte Avenue when she "heard another person in the stall next to her and then saw a man stick his head underneath the stall to look at her inside the stall."
Police said the woman yelled at the man, and he ran out of the bathroom and restaurant.
The woman allegedly chased the suspect, Eduardo Moreno, and she confronted him and attempted to take a photo of the man. He reportedly grabbed the phone and pushed the victim to the ground before fleeing.
According to police, Moreno was seen stripping his shirt off and hopping over a fence. He reportedly went back to Panera Bread and was "tackled" by a group of bystanders before police arrived.
Moreno was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for robbery and peeping, police said.
Moreno is the CEO of SeaDrone Inc., a Palo Alto-based company that performs underwater inspections, KRON-TV reports.
