Nashville man arrested after ‘childlike sex dolls’ found in residence

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TCD) --
A Tennessee man was arrested on Friday, June 4, after investigators found several “childlike sex dolls” were found in his home in October.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents received information that 52-year-old Antioch resident William Crowder ordered a “childlike sex doll” to be shipped to his house in October 2020. Antioch is a Nashville neighborhood about 10 miles southeast of downtown.
A search warrant was served at Crowder’s house, where agents reportedly found at least six of the dolls, “several of them dressed in children’s clothing,” according to TBI.
A Davidson County grand jury returned indictments against Crowder on May 19.
Crowder was charged with six counts of possession of a childlike sex doll; and one count of selling, distributing or transporting a childlike sex doll.
Crowder was arrested by TBI Internet Crimes Against Children agents and Metro Nashville Police officers on June 4.
Crowder was booked into the Davidson County Jail, where he was held on $30,000 bond.
