WALDRON, Ark. (KFSM) -- A former assistant principal in the Waldron School District was given 10 years' probation for having sex with a 16-year-old student.
Jessica Williams, 37, pleaded guilty Wednesday, May 29, in Scott County Circuit Court to two counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of indecent exposure.
As part of her plea deal, Judge Don Ramey dismissed her remaining sexual assault charges.
Williams must serve nine months in the county jail. She'll have to register as a sex offender is barred from contacting the student.
If she violates her probation, she faces up to 30 years in prison and a $15,000 fine.
