Planet fitness manager allegedly films unclothed man in tanning booth

NAUGATUCK, Conn. (TCD) -- A 23-year-old Planet Fitness manager was arrested after allegedly filming a naked man in a tanning booth.
According to a news release from the Naugatuck Police Department, on June 30, the department received a complaint alleging that a victim was filmed at the Planet Fitness located at 1188 New Haven Road. The unclothed victim reportedly told authorities that when he left the tanning booth, he noticed a male holding a cellphone from the ceiling recording him.
The suspect was later identified as Jordan Hill, police said.
On Sept. 20, at around 9:30 a.m., Hill surrendered to Naugatuck Police Headquarters following an active arrest warrant against him, according to police.
He was reportedly arrested and charged with criminal attempt at voyeurism. Police said Hill was released on $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19.
In a statement obtained by WFSB-TV, Planet Fitness said, "At Planet Fitness, the safety and privacy of our members and guests is our top priority, and we can confirm the franchise owner is currently working closely with the local police in their investigation of this incident."
