Tennessee father arrested after leaving 2 young children in vehicle, resulting in 1 death

JACKSON, Tenn. (TCD) -- A father was indicted this week in connection with his 4-year-old child's death after he reportedly left the juvenile unattended in a vehicle.
According to the U.S. Marshals Office, on August 21, 2021, Tyler McMillion allegedly left his two young children, ages 4 and 2, unattended in a car. The 4-year-old died as a result of the incident, the U.S. Marshals Office says.
On Monday, Feb. 28, McMillion was reportedly indicted on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child neglect, reckless homicide, leaving child unattended in a motor vehicle, and child neglect.
According to the U.S. Marshals Office, McMillion was taken into custody from a home in the 6000 block of Graball Drive. He was reportedly booked into the Madison County Jail.
