DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (TCD) -- Police in central Florida said former Nickelodeon star Jared "Drake" Bell is "safe" after he was initially listed as "missing and endangered."
On Thursday, April 13, the Daytona Beach Police Department announced they were searching for Bell, who was last seen near the area of Mainland High School on Wednesday, April 12, at around 9 p.m. Bell is believed to be traveling in a grey 2022 BMW.
Daytona Beach Police commented on the post and said, "For those asking, this is a legitimate post from the Daytona Beach Police Department. If you have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace."
Police said they have been in contact with Bell.
In June 2021, Bell pleaded guilty to attempted child endangerment for allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a teen girl on social media and sexually assaulting her at a show in Cleveland. A judge sentenced him to two years of probation one month after the plea.
Bell is known for his roles on the shows "Drake & Josh" and "The Amanda Show."
