Police seek man accused of fatally stabbing brother with 'pirate sword'

HOUSTON (TCD) -- Police are searching for a 29-year-old man accused of killing his 23-year-old brother during a fight last week.
According to the Houston Police Department, on Thursday, Sept. 28, shortly after 4 p.m., officers responded to 8219 Garden Parks Drive in reference to a fatal stabbing. Officials located the victim and transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead from multiple stab wounds.
Police identified Corey Kellett as the suspect and said he was last seen fleeing the scene in a white Alfa Romeo sedan with paper license plates.
Houston Police Lt. Larry Crowson told KPRC-TV the two brothers got into a dispute when the suspect allegedly stabbed his brother with what a witness said was a "pirate sword."
Kellett faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He remains at large, and police have asked for the public’s help in finding him.
