Alaska teen accused of fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend

MADISON, Ala. (TCD) -- A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged after allegedly fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend during a dispute.
According to WAFF-TV, on Thursday, July 28, Limestone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2800 block of SW Wall Street to a report of a shooting. At the scene, authorities reportedly found an injured woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Antonio Burks, the victim’s ex-boyfriend, was at the scene and taken into custody, WAAY-TV reports.
The woman was reportedly transported to the Huntsville Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
According to WAFF, the Criminal Investigation Division learned there was a domestic dispute, and Burks pulled out a gun and fatally shot his ex-girlfriend.
Burks was arrested and booked into the Limestone County Jail for murder, records show. He remains held without bond.
