CLEVELAND (TCD) -- Police are continuing to search for a missing and endangered woman who disappeared while retrieving something from her car over the weekend.
According to Cleveland Police, on Saturday, May 6, at approximately 6 p.m., Lachelle Jordan went to her car outside her residence on Fairport Avenue and never came back inside. She was last seen wearing an East Cleveland Fire Department sweatshirt, tie-dye pants, and rainbow Crocs. On Wednesday, May 11, Cleveland Police announced Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County were offering a $5,000 reward for information "in the event it is determined this involves criminal activity."
WJW-TV reports Jordan, who works as an EMS in Cleveland, was scheduled to testify at a pretrial hearing for Michael Stennett earlier this week as a key witness. Court records show he is charged with two counts of rape and one count of abduction. On May 8, he was arrested on charges of violating a protection order while committing a felony and menacing by stalking.
According to WJW, Jordan reportedly saw Stennett multiple times near her home. He also allegedly followed her while she was at work. Additionally, a family member reportedly found a gunshot through one of Jordan’s windows.
WKYC-TV reports Jordan was "scared" about getting followed, so she transferred her job location.
