BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (TCD) -- A 33-year-old woman and her 20-year-old secret boyfriend are accused of plotting to kill the woman’s boyfriend so they could move in together and be in a relationship.
According to NBC Chicago, on Wednesday, May 15, at approximately 5 a.m., Arturo Cantu was shot and killed while walking to his car at his apartment on the 7300 block of West 79th Street. Bridgeview Police officers responded to the scene and found him deceased on the side of his building.

He was arrested two days later on Friday, May 17, on a charge of first-degree murder.
According to WGN-TV, Calderon and Cantu’s girlfriend, Agnieszka Rydzewski, reportedly worked at the same McDonald’s. Calderon and Rydzewski allegedly texted about moving in together after Cantu was killed. The two reportedly also discussed bringing a third person into their scene.
Rydzewski was arrested for solicitation to commit murder.
Calderon reportedly confessed to shooting Cantu and provided specific details about the killing.
Cantu leaves behind a 12-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter.
