Kokomo woman arrested for murder of 4-year-old Indiana boy

KOKOMO, Ind. (WXIN) -- A Kokomo woman was arrested in the death of a 4-year-old boy Saturday morning.
Kokomo Police responded to a report of an unconscious, unresponsive individual just after 11 a.m. When they arrived, they found the boy being treated by the fire department and medics. He was transported to the local hospital where he later died.
Helen Martin, 56, was arrested on a preliminary murder charge following an investigation into the death.
Further details were not released by the department.
