Suspicious fire leads to search for missing woman, possible abductor

OAKWOOD VILLAGE, Ohio -- (WJW) -- A suspicious fire leads to a frantic search for a missing woman. Police believe she was abducted by her violent ex-boyfriend after he set fire to her mother's home.
"I just want him to bring her back, I want him to bring her back safely," pleaded Kimberly Barnett, cousin of Brandi Shakir, 23.
Police in Oakwood Village believe Shakir was abducted from her mother's home on Lynbrook Drive Monday morning by her ex-boyfriend, 25-year old Kyle Johnson.
"A young man had went in the house, I saw the guy go in the house and then he knocked over her garbage cans and now her house in on fire," said police Sgt. Kenneth Willner.
