Investigators: Man charged after threatening to kill parents over how they voted

SAN ANTONIO -- (KABB) -- Police have charged a 29-year-old man after he reportedly threatened to kill his parents over the presidential election results.
According to arrest papers, Chase Michael Carter, 29, was upset because his parents did not vote the same way he did and he told his girlfriend he planned to kill them.
She told investigators Carter has also been reading up on mass killings and has been practicing at a gun range. She also said Carter pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her in early October.
Carter is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
