WASHINGTON -- (WDCW) -- New developments in the murder of 68-year-old grandmother, and cherished Southeast community member, Vivian Marrow. Marrow was shot and killed in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, while heading to the store in her wheelchair Monday morning.
Wednesday, Metropolitan Police Department released surveillance video showing exactly what happened during the shooting.
The video can be hard to watch, as it shows Marrow, cruising down the sidewalk in her wheelchair, when two people run pass her. The person in front appears to be running from the second man who investigators said was shooting with his left hand. The grandmother gets hit by a stray bullet, slumps over, and her wheelchair spins slowly as the suspect flees the scene.
