BUNNELL, Fla. -- (WJXT) -- A 22-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after her 21-month-old son tested positive for cocaine at an area hospital, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said.
Ashley Estepp brought her son into the Florida Hospital Flagler emergency room saying her son got into her pills and had swallowed a Diluadid, police said. Dilaudid is a medication prescribed to treat moderate to severe pain.
After doctors ran tests on the boy, they discovered he had cocaine in his system, according to Estepp's arrest report.
Police said Estepp lied at first about having or taking cocaine but eventually admitted to it.
While at the hospital, police said Estepp agreed to take a drug test and tested positive for cocaine and methadone.
